Shearwater Teric 2 Dive Computer Launches with Brighter OLED and Longer Battery
Shearwater Research announces the Teric 2 with a 40% brighter OLED display, 20-hour battery life, and wireless air integration for up to 4 transmitters.
Shearwater Research has released the Teric 2, the long-awaited successor to one of the most popular wrist-mounted dive computers in the technical diving community.
The Teric 2 features a 1.4-inch OLED display that is 40% brighter than its predecessor, making it significantly easier to read in bright tropical conditions and at depth. Battery life has been extended to approximately 20 hours in dive mode with a single charge.
Wireless air integration now supports up to four transmitters simultaneously, allowing divers to monitor their own gas supply along with up to three buddies. The device supports both recreational and technical diving modes including nitrox, trimix, CCR, and gauge.
New features include a built-in dive planner, customizable screen layouts, and Bluetooth connectivity for post-dive log uploads via the Shearwater Cloud app. The titanium bezel and sapphire crystal lens provide durability for demanding dive environments.
The Teric 2 retails for $1,499 without a transmitter and $1,799 with one wireless transmitter included. It begins shipping in May 2026.
